1950 OCT.

Niikura Kogyo was established in Chuo-ku Tokyo, with the primary function of designing and producing marine equipment.

1952 FEB.

The headquarter was moved to Shinagawa, Tokyo and a production plant was set up in Gotanda, Tokyo.

1958 FEB.

Manufacturing of products for land use commenced.
A spray department was established.

1964 JAN.

A new production plant was established in Ofuna, Yokohama.

1967 DEC.

Management and operations moved to Ofuna factory, which became the main production plant.

1971 FEB.

Completion of Fukushima Factory to reinforce the production departments.
It was established as Fukushima Niikura Kogyo Co., Ltd.

1977 JUL.

Completion of new building to integrate head office and production plant.

1984 NOV.

Mihara Marine Equipment stock center of Niikura Kogyo Co., Ltd was established.

1990 JUL.

The production of land apparatus and spray section was separated into two independent divisions for further expansion and increase of productivity.
The Niikura Corporation was established.

1992 JAN.

Completion of the new Niikura Head Office building in Gotanda, Tokyo.

1992 DEC.

Contracted by Hyundai Heavy Industries, and in collaboration with Shin Myung Industry in South Korea, to manufacture marine breather valves.

1993 OCT.

Production department at the Yokohama Headquarters Factory was integrated with the Fukushima Factory.

1995 FEB.

Products stock center was established in Singapore.

2001 SEP.

Fukushima Factory of Niikura Kogyo was established at Hobaramachitakanarita, Date, Fukushima.

2004 NOV.

To enhancing the efficiency of logistics systems, Niikura Kogyo also established Niikura Group logistics center at Hobaramachitakanarita, Date, Fukushima.

2009 SEP.

Niikura Kogyo Co., Ltd. Fuji Gotemba plant
Completion of Fuji Gotemba Factory Building A in Gotemba, Shizuoka.

2009 DEC.

Mergered with Niikura Corporation.

2011 MAR.

Sales department moved to Fuji Gotemba Factory Building B.

Completion of warehouse for storage of equipment parts at Fuji Gotemba Factory Building B in Gotemba, Shizuoka.

Capital tie-up with Top Coat Co., Ltd, a globally recognized paint company.

2015 SEP.

Saga Imono Foundry Co., Ltd.
The Niikura Group was established, together with capital tie-up with Saga Imono Foundry Co., Ltd.
Completion of Fuji Gotemba Factory Building C in Gotemba, Shizuoka.
